Functional purpose:
The fully protected riot helmet is used to protect the head, face, and neck of individual soldiers performing riot control tasks. It can resist attacks from sharp objects, sticks, non explosive projectiles, and chemical liquids, and has a certain degree of shotgun protection performance.
Composition Introduction:
Adopting a half helmet structure, the helmet consists of a helmet shell, impact buffering system, helmet fixing and stabilizing system, face mask, goggles, lining, neck protection, and other parts. The surface of the helmet is flame retardant, and the wearing device adopts a rotatable adjustable design, which can adapt to different head circumference police officers. The lining and neck guard are detachable, making it easy to clean and replace.
Tactical rails can be used to mount equipment such as lighting, communication, and video recording. The helmet body is made of high-strength lightweight materials, composite carbon fiber, and stab resistant nylon fiber, with high flame retardant performance.
Main indicator parameters:
Full helmet weight: ≤ 1250g.
Helmet shell color: black (carbon fiber primary color, bright black, sub black can be selected)
Helmet shell protection area: ≤ 0.266 square meters.
Head circumference range: The head circumference can be adjusted within the range of 500mm to 620mm.
Helmet field of view: (data testing)
(1) Left and right horizontal field of view ≥ 105 °
(2) Upper field of view ≥ 7 °
(3) Lower field of view ≥ 30 °
Flame retardancy: The surface of the helmet shell and the neck guard have a continuous combustion time of ≤ 7s.
Helmet shell strength: Fix the helmet shell on the testing machine and apply lateral pressure of 430N. The maximum deformation is ≤ 40mm, and the residual deformation is ≤ 15mm. The helmet shell has no detached fragments (excluding the coating).
Neck protection: capable of covering and protecting the neck, extending an effective length of ≥ 120mm outside the shell along the mid sagittal plane.
Face mask transmittance: ≥ 85%.
Face mask anti fog performance: meets the requirements of Article 5.11.2.4 of GA294-2012.
Mask opening and closing positioning function: During the mask opening and closing process, it can maintain the positioning function under non artificial external force.
Performance of helmet shell in absorbing collision energy: The helmet shell is subjected to an impact of 49J energy, and the force transmitted to the head mold does not exceed 4900N.
Impact resistance of face mask: The face mask can withstand an impact of 5J energy from a spherical impact hammer with a mass of 1kg and a diameter of 45mm.
Penetration resistance: Use a 3kg heavy steel cone with a height of 3 m to puncture the helmet shell with an energy of 88.2J. The steel cone should not penetrate the helmet shell.
